Has anyone heard anything more specific than "Once SETI@home/BOINC

SETI@home? If I decide to switch to the new one, I want to do so at
the last possible moment.

SETI@Home won't be shut down until Boinc reaches M2, or Mileston2.
There's a lot of work to be done between now and then, including a
completely new GUI, new benchmark scheme, more GUI_RPC functionality,
grahics for *nix, and a bunch of bugfixes, so it's probably several
months away.
