Hi. I'm new to Boinc, but on S@H Classic I crunched 251WUs. Anyway, I
disabled the "BOINC Network access" and I selected the "Run always" option.
This works fine, until I restart my PC, because the BOINC client enables the
Network access again and makes it "Run based on preferences". How do I make
this not to change to the preferences I don't want?
Okay I will take a stab at this one...."run always" is the default way
the program runs. This is set on the your account, preferences,
general, view/edit, "do work between the hours of" setting.
As far as disabling the "network access" that is set thru the your
account, preferences section, general, view/edit, and then turning ON
the "confirm before connecting to the internet" setting.
Also the "disconnect when done" setting could help.
Your computer is telling you that the "preferences" you have set in
the "preferences" section on the your account page is how it is
running. You need to go there to change things.
