I'm not getting any work either, on multiple machines, and I have the attach
to URL set to
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/
but when the BOINC client tries to connect, it connects to
http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/
and says No work avaliable.

This is the correct page for Boinc:
http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah/
To set up Boinc you need your user ID that they mailed you and the url
of the project. This is the url  http://setiathome.berkeley.edu
The reason you are not getting work is you are trying to connect to
the wrong url.
Detatch from the one you are attatched to and attatch to the url
above.
