Thinking maybe people with largish caches may be stacking up WUs that
won't be processed for days, I'v reduced by own cache from 8 days
(equal to the longest S@H outage since 1999) to 3 days......and
assumed I will turn around my stacked up WUs faster....and allow
everyone to get their credits sooner.

I think so. I originally set my cache to 5-6 days to try to avoid the
frustration I've been experiencing previously when I can't get WUs. (Got
handed 48 WUs to my fastest machine) then, after reading how the credit
system works, I've reduced it to 1-3 days. My girlfriend is frustrated
though, (another member of our team) she set her machine up with BOINC
yesterday and still doesn't have any WUs. Lots of 'messages' but no WUs.
