AthlonRob doesn't use Windows, though.. I've never actually even seen
the Windows graphics for boinc. :-)
I *think* the graphics aren't drawn if the screensaver itself turns
black, but if you just set the monitor to turn off and not to blank
the screensaver, the graphics are still drawn. I could be mistaken,
there,
I just don't know. :-)
Works for me, misfit you can have it that the graphics may not be
drawn.
Thanks. I'm fairly sure I was right. The "Go to blank screen after..."
setting stops the graphics from being processed. The "Turn monitor off
after..." option (without the "Blank screen" option) still allows the
graphical processing to continue, using processing power, even though the
monitor is powered down and the graphics aren't actually visible. An
important consideration, as the graphical processing takes a fair bit of
horse-power, slowing WU though-put.
