Jan I think you raise a different issue. The estimated time for the work
units on my machine is okay (well ~15% higher than actual).

I want to know whether there was a way of getting the Progress meter to
better reflect the actual progress of the processing of an individual SETI
work unit; the progress is not linear through the work unit. You use to be
able to do this in SETI Spy via the use of a XML file.

Thanks
Chris

Hi!
A similar problem, probably with the same cause: The estimated time for
the calculation is too low, so that BOINC downloads lots of WUs when I
set it to chache only for 2-3 days and then I have the problem, that
some of the WUs get very close to the deadline. So, to the BOINC staff:
Please fix it, and, if possible, expand the deadline (1 month perhaps),
so that we can cache more and don't run out of WUs if the server is
down again for days.

Thanks in advance

Jan
