The boinc servers are still having some issues; hopefully they'll get 
them resolved in the next few days.  During this time, the website will 
be going up and down, as will the back-end schedulers.

The problem relates essentially to the transitioners not scaling nearly 
as well as they appeared to scale during the Beta test and the problem 
being misdiagnosed for a day as a problem with the splitters.
