Hey there!

Google isn't helping with this problem and I saw no mention of it in the
FAQ, but I'm sure someone must have encountered it before. I'm trying to
use setihome.scr as the logon screen saver unders Windows 2000, but it can't
seem to start successfully.

Curious if there were error messages I was missing, I set the logon screen
saver to be CMD.EXE, then issued "setihome.scr /s" from the prompt when it
appeared. No error messages. Same result.

However, the program itself will work: when I issued "\program
files\seti@home\seti@home.exe" at the prompt, up it came with no problems.
In fact, AFTER running it that way, "setihome.scr /s" then worked, too!

Any suggestions on how to get this working? I have no idea what could be
causing setihome.scr to fail, and it doesn't provide any clues. The machine
is logged out much more than not, so it seems a shame to waste all the
time....

Thanks!
