the prefs system is messy i think it needs an update
you set your prefs via the website, and then you manualy tell the boinc
client to get new updated prefs

whats the opint in prefs on the website if i have to manualy tell the client
to download them, you might as well have the prefs in the client like every
other program out there

the reason i'm moaning about this is i'v set my cache to 1 day, and since
boninc is still being setup really it's not online a lot, so i set my prefs
to allow for more days of work to be downloaded, but i'll be damned if i'm
gonna go around every pc i have boinc installed on to update the prefs
manualy
