I'm in New Zealand and high-speed internet is still expensive here.
Also, I'm on an invalid's benefit so it would have to be damn cheap
for me to be able to justify the lower food-intake. <g>.

here in montreal canada i guess i am really quite lucky then.

i pay $40.21 per month(15 1/2 % taxes incl) and that includes
the monthly rental for a dsl modem/wireless router.my download
speeds are a steady 300-350 kbs/sec   :-)
