correctly it wouldn't be of much help because work is charged a premium for the satellite connection and wouldn't be happy if several extra gigs were added to the downloads each month.
So I think it's definitely a stupid idea that Boinc isn't accounting in for offline machines any way.

Hopefully, a feature for 'offline' operation will be added later.

At the moment. the Berkeley developers are struggling enough knocking the online stuff into shape...

Good efforts all round thus far. I'm sure more goodies are to come.
