Hiya All.
Has anyone got a valid archive of the executables of BOINC for Linux? The
one from the website doesn't download as a valid gzip file and I can't get
the source to successfully compile.
If you're on an x86 machine:
I downloaded the boinc executable recently. "gunzip" and boinc work
fine. Don't forget the "chmod" to make the executable executable...
And use a command line so that you can see the output. Your first
command should be:
boinc_3.18_i686-pc-linux-gnu -attach_project
See:
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/client_unix.php
If you're still stuck, I could email the copy I have across to you.
Good luck,
Martin
