Excellent. Thanks Malcolm. I have a case all ready for that one and a
position on a KVM switch. I'm off to get another KVM tomorrow for the
others, gotta go to Auckland anyway and I decided against going
broadband with Wired Country so I have a little to spend. Dial-up
will do for a bit longer.
No problems...arrrgh..run them headless and use VNC, much easier. You
can wind the colour down to 256 colours and get some more performance
points out of it.
I have zero experience with VNC, wouldn't even know how to go about it. <G>
What gear is needed? Should I be getting an ethernet switch with more ports
instead of a KVM?
Told you I have no experience with it.
VNC is a program you load on each computer and it lets you sit at one
computer and operate the rest without the need for any switches or
anything, just click on it and you are there.
