and your HDD manufacturer's disk test utility.
Hi! I'm quite sure the the hw is ok, because it ran seti classic all the
time and often runs several days under heavy load. I hope my HD is also
ok, since I am quite paranoid about this: I had a HD crash last year, so
I check my S.M.A.R.T values more often then neccessary :)
Try clearing and reinstalling Boinc and see if you get the same error
for a new WU.
If your system is good and the error repeats, then you have a bug to
report.
Ok, I think I'll try that.
You could try linux instead. All works very well here (;-))
/Me knows. Actually this is my only windows machine. I wanted to test
BOINC on the least important machine first :)
