Well, still getting the same unknown error from the server (equivalent to a
raised middle digit to my attempts to upload/download).

The worst part appears to be that the result doesn't go through, but 
the client still deletes the state.sah file, so next time you try the 
result is treated as bogus and discarded.

Never mind the server giving me the bird.  At this rate it won't be long 
before I return the sentiment.
