Sounds like a very old conspiracy theorist's dreamtime...
There's good well discussed reasoning behind the present selection of
frequency ranges that are being searched.
Any military searching would use dedicated hardware that the military
would have direct control of, and that would give a much faster result.
No military types could wait 5 years to then have only analysed half the
data to then wait another year to follow it up.
Wow, scientists have to have the patience of saints!
