Having installed BOINC yesterday, I still haven't been able to download new
data for it. Hence, BOINC just sits in the system tray idling...

SETI@Home Classic, on the other hand, can now send finished WU's and
retrieve new ones without problems. So for the moment I'll leave S@H Classic
running.

A word from the folks over at Berkeley would however be much appreciated. I
was ready to switch to BOINC, but without any data to crunch it won't
happen.
