MY LITTLE PROBLEM.  I had over 8,000 hours of CPU time in my old
Seti@home account.  BOINC only shows 5:36:55 (that's 5+ hours) in the
work window. The project windows shows 0.00 credit.  Are my hours
lost forever?  Why don't they show up?

the work units are recorded alongside your new results, they couldn't merge 
them
