I'm running the GUI Classic on an Asus A7N8X Dlx, FSB 166, Barton 2500+ running at 2.08Ghz (2800+ equivalent), with 512MB of PC-2700.

If a WU exceeds an RFI count, analysis is abandoned as the WU is pretty much useless.

You might also get a short WU if the FPU in your processor is producing errors due to overclocking or overheating. Have you checked out your system on a hot day with the GIMPS torture test?
