doesn't seem to cause a problem.

Correction by the way: on bootup, the CMOS says, "XPS T@00, Pentium Pro
1000" That is the best it can comprehend about my 1.4 GHz Celeron upgrade.
It used to say XPS T450, etc...
Well, Powerleap said there would be little things like that, but not to
worry about it. So I'm not worried. Of course, my beep-warning function
has become useless, although amusing.
