There was an outage, but as of last night it is over. I'm not having any
problems now and my little farm is full of work-units.

What does your SETI-boinc say?

(Just go to the tab messages and select the last ones. You can copy them to
your clipboard and paste them in a post).

Out of work? Just go to the tab projects, right click on seti and select
update. Do that a couple of times, if you do not get work. Just keep an eye
on the messages in the message-tab between tries.
