I know this is a project for volunteers, but if you just look at the
scope of it the side that the public get's to see looks, shall we say
"non professional". If they want to keep their sponsors they should
think about making their users happy, look at the website and
information of The Planetary Society (planetary.org) that kind of PR
looks more like it!
Anyway; this time I still have 2 days of WU's left, looks like I am
going to make it :)

for the time being.no complaints about the seti project or staff from me
though.i am sure they are doing their best.

Do not misunderstand: I have no problem with the SETI staff, I think
they are doing a great job. BOINC was probably released to the public
somewhat soon, don't forget: you need some massive hard and software to
handle millions of people switching to BOINC at once!
The problem is that no one at SETI/Berkely really seems to be in charge
of public relations. There is almost no feedback, apart from the
occasional person from S@H posting in a NG or forum. A project of this
size should have a better organized structure, or at least look that way
to people on the outside :)
Feedback is the big word here.
If this where
*any* other project, not one embrasing the continous drive
for the human race to explore and to learn, it whould have stopped
having users ages ago!
I think I am like most S@H users: I like the stats, it gives you the
extra little push, but it is really about the dream isn't it? Isn't it
great to have hope? :)
Hopefully everything will be back on track soon. In the mean time: a
*BIG HELLO to EVERYONE from S@H!!!*.
