My 1.4GHz Athlon takes about 5.5 hrs per WU which blows the Pentium
out of the water.

Interesting, thanks. I've been an AMD man since the demise of the
Tualatin P3. However I didn't realise that AMD were that far ahead
of Intel back then.

My Celeron Tualatin 1.4 overclocked to 1.6 takes about 5.5 hrs with
BOINC.
