I do not care about my electricity-bill. I earn enough money to pay it.
Something I contemplated myself and was curious how everyone else feels.
I saw a bit of a contradiction.
With the millions of computers around the globe running S@H, tonnes of
pollutants are being released into the atmosphere from electricity
plants. Either CO2 from coal or gas plants, radioactive waste from
nuclear plants.
Is looking for ET more important than saving our own biosphere?
Now my solution to my troubles was to elect an electric generating
company that offers 100% renewable sources of power. Solar, wind, small
scale hydro and even geo-thermal are my sources of power. Now I pay
about 40% more than I use to with my old company, but I feel better,
especially having all of these PCs running, knowing I'm not killing the
human race at the same time.
