Does this mean BOINC has run out of work units (again)?
I still have not got any work units to process.
Si.
I think as soon as they generate some work units, they are passed out to
whoever can connect at the moment, and they run out again. Plus their poor
database is being swamped with requests, and isn't handling the load too
well at the moment.
Just checked, and I did get one work unit earlier today and BOINC is working
on it, but I still have 2 units to return. I'd guess that I get successful
communication maybe once every 20 - 30 connection attempts, if that. At
least I have Seti Classic running, set to a lower processing priority than
BOINC, so when BOINC runs out of work, Classic picks up and keeps crunching.
I'm sure BOINC will get resolved; it's just going to take some time to get
the hardware and database issues straightened out.
Bob.
