Wrong.
3 of my 5 machines would NOT be on 24 hours a day if they weren't
crunching SETI work.
I built a new system JUST to get better speed in SETI,
I had plenty of other things I COULD have done with that $1000.
I have the same thing going on here! I have 17 machines currently
happily crunching. 3 would be on anyway, the rest are on solely
because of Seti AND 12 of the machines are Seti/Boinc specific.
Meaning that is ALL they do! I Have 2 laptops that are on all the time
because of Seti but would be on only when we wanted to do something
else otherwise.
