I agree with the fireman here.

I sympathise with the idea of making better use of news:c.dist but SETI-BOINC is far more topical for discussion here.

Other BOINC related projects may well get discussed in their relevant project forums as with CPDN.


Discussion of the theory and implementation behind the BOINC framework itself in isolation may well find c.dist a better forum than here.
