I do not know what the chances of intelligent ET life existing in our
galaxy are, maybe slim, maybe pretty decent. But I do know that the
chances of intelligent ET life existing anywhere in the universe are
waaaaaay bigger then it *not* existing anywhere.
Uh, tell me how that goes again, you know P(x) >> P(y) without knowing
P(x) or P(y). Sounds like rationality stopped working here ;)
The human race must be pretty arrogant if they assume the only
intelligent life in the universe exists on earth and earth alone.

Heck, it's better then believing in God. At least no wars have started
because of someone believing in a different ET then his/her neighbour...
Amen. Just don't forget this viewpoint doesn't represent a beacon of
rationality & science (vs the Xtian Big Ghost in the Sky).
