Thanks Strat. It's really good that you post stuff here that you read in
the
forums. I'd miss it otherwise. Although, in a perfect world, Rom would
post
these gems of wisdom here himself, not grudgingly hand them out when
pushed
on the forums. (My impression last time I saw a post from him, when I used
to read the forums).

I actually first heard of this factoid from ARS' forums, but I had to use
the search function in the BOINC forums to find the thread. I was
pretty surprised when the search pulled the right post on the first
try! Not bad.

As for Rom, I'd bet he & his boys are pretty dayem busy these
days. From my short stint working in a university research 'think tank',
I'd also suspect he's caught up in the politics, and has to be extremely
careful and guarded with his  diseminating any 'inside' info.
