I have been a seti user for several years now. I installed BOINC a few
days
ago, but it doesn't seem to be able to get any data. Either the server
doesn't respond, or it has "no work available." The BOINC run log just
keeps repeating the same failed attempts.

I am running windows XP, with administrative privileges on my account..
Below is a partial transcript of the BOINC log for today. I hope somebody
out there can tell me what I need to do to fix this.

The guys at Berkeley somehow, managed (by all accounts heroically) to get
the project (seti boinc) back on it's feet just before yesterday, very well
done guys!!! Since then the few systems I've migrated to running boinc have
had plenty of work, however, as I type this, a computer on the campus which
schedules uploads and downloads, is currently offline while they work on
some sort of storage problem, sooo, I nor anyone else can currently return
work or refill their caches.
I've not uninstalled the classic CLI yet, so I can just switch back when
boinc runs out of work.
