No way. Even the Pentium-M 1.7 in my IBM Thinkpad T41p is slower than a P4
2.8...

A Pentium-M is roughly 1.6x as fast as a P4 at the same clock rate. That
means its almost as fast as a P4 2.4GHz. The fp-Performance on the P4 is
much better, though...
