I have just finish my 1st unit on my Centrino 1.5GHz, 1M L2 cache
The time it take is 3hr 17min 22.0 sec.

Where you may find the power of the Centrino set up, whit either 1 or 2
Mb L2 caches is running more than 1 "work unit" (WU) at the same time.

If you are running the CLI, cached using SETI Driver, and monitored by
SETI Spy (a good combination). You can set the desired cache size in
Driver, and the number of WUs to be crunched from 1 to 2.

Others have posted that the Centrino system can crunch 2 WUs in very
little more time than running 1 WU. This will double the daily output
from your current one of 7.25 WU per day to between 14 and 15.

Compared to a 2.4Ghz P4 with hyperthreading active, the output of the
Centrino will be higher.
