You very nearly got killfiled for spamming.
using your recommendation, so I can only assume I got it right. you say dash
dash. I used [minus][minus] I don't even know what a dash is..
Follow the (very clear) instructions about 'sigs'. See mine below.
A dash is the thing between these quotes: "-"
You should use
*exactly*: "-- " (as described).

I'd have never expected resources to disappear so easily on this P4 1 gig ram.
Where windows claims it's actually 3 gigs of ram.
I'm just guessing the gray is the fact seti couldn't find enough resources to
do a good color. like I said the reboot brought the color green right back.
Windoze uses poor programming with fixed internal table sizes for some
resources. You can have TBytes of unused RAM and still overflow a
64kByte resource table! Various things then inexorably lead to the Blue
Screen of Death (BSOD)... You must then follow the MS mantra of rebooting...
Husky, while I have no idea what a gray icon means, I understand the "paranoia?"
or aggravation of other posters. The "more pix @" link is misleading - at least
with your question about the "gray icon" - that there are pictures of it to be
found there. I realize it's a .sig (signature) you add at the end of every post.
what you need to do is to follow the signature conventions and place a "-- "
(that's [dash][dash][space] without the quotes) in a line above the .sig.
more pix @ http:XXXX with added popups
Good luck,
