Does that sound like a good idea? Surely I won't lose my current
WU's or anything silly? Anyone tried it? After losing all those WU's
a week or two back I'm loathe to risk losing anymore.

I've switched off BOINC network access a couple of times on different
machines during the last week. Haven't noticed any problems.
Thanks for the prompt reply John. I'll do it then. I've got machines trying
to upload 40-odd units all at different times, plus trying to download units
as well. If there's no chance of them getting anywhere might as well stop
'em from sending messages half-way around the world every few minutes that
aren't gonna get answered anyway. Not to mention the traffic on my LAN.

PS. If I lose my WU's I'm coming looking for you. ;-) Sorry, just finished
watching a thriller. 'The Secret Window'.
