You can if you wish, or you can just leave it in place if you wish...
Boinc and s@h 'classic' install into different directory trees, so their
files do not interfere. If you run just one or the other, then fine
also. If you try to run both simultaneaously, s@h 'classic' will hog
most of the idle time computing due to the set priorities.
If you have the disk space and there is no confusion as to what is
running, then just leave the old classic there as a record of your old
account details.
I'm still looking for the BOINC install. I don't want the GUI and I
don't have the compiler to do the compile for the other.

I guess you are wanting a 'Windows' cli... The linux one comes as a cli
(;-))
