*That's it!*

I'm fed up with BOINC! I've set my preferences to ask me when to connect
but it just goes ahead and does it anyway.

It only gets 2 units of work and so has to connect nearly every day even
tho
i set it for 7 days.

I can never seem to get any work at all somtimes lately most times.

I've no way of knowing what my results are!

I'm going back to classic s@h until all problems are sorted. I support
any
new venture but this is ridiculous. Didn't they have a trial period
before
telling everyone to switch to BOINC?

LOL, I was thinking almost exactly the same thing when your post was
downloaded. My pc was quite happily working away with classic until I read
somewhere that the project was closing that program in favour of a BOINC
version. Since I started about 1 week ago:
I've had 5 work units stuck on waiting to upload (others have uploaded
without a problem),
my BOINC client has forgotten my project account ID,
I keep selecting the option to "run always" but it always reverts to "run
based on preferences" & I've no idea what those preferences are,
As my total & avg credits remain zero despite at least 20 work units being
returned, I've no idea what sort of progress I'm making individually.
I appreciate that the project must have a whole lot of very talented people
tripping over each other resolving the known issues, but that doesn't go a
long way to maintaining my enthusiasm for a project that doesn't appear to
work properly anymore.
