Personally I use both systems and he's right if you want performance and
don't exclude Linux as incapable of running windows applications
completly.
Linux is by it's very nature, more attuned to people who tweak their
systems
and don't accept the package "out of the box" software.
John just said he had Windows Available to him. Martin just
told him where to open his horizons at. I mean find Linux. You don't have
to
be an Employee to be proud of what you got. :)

Sorry guys forgot to mention i also have Redhat Linux 7.1 as well so maybe
that would have been better to state with the rest, it just slipped my mind
cos i never used only when i first got it and for only a few days!
So far what i'm picking up is Linux, which i assume redhat is good enough,
or win xp with services turned off?
