My power goes out much more frequently than that, but the outages are
typically only a matter of seconds.  Three UPS units for my eight home
non-laptop CPUs were the best investment I've made in years, saving
many frustrations (and WUs).

Obligatory Gripe:  Still can't get any work from BOINC for my machines
that don't have a permanent Internet connection.  SETI Classic at
52102 completed WUs rolls on...

I have considered UPS's but just haven't gotten any yet.
I have only 2 machines doing Boinc right now, thought I would cut back
since they are still having issues, the rest are all on Classic.
