I need some help testing a set of SETI software that I have created. This
is not associated with SEIT@Home but a stand alone system.
If you are interested:

I have a prototype SETI data archive up and running on my web site now. It
needs to be tested. If you are interested here is how you can help.
1. Select a WAV file. It doesn't have to be a received data file. It could
simply be a standard *.wav file on your computer or a file created with the
SETI Net Spectrum Analyzer.
2. Tag the file. Use the SETI Net SML Generator to tag the file with
identifying information. Again it really doesn't matter what it is just
something to identify it.
3. Log into WWW.SETI.Net and move to the SETI Data Archive page. Then to
the Archive itself (button on the left). You will see a list of test files
that I have uploaded under a couple of test owner names.
4. Login - the login link is in the upper left. Create a use by hitting
"Register". Setup your user name and password.
5. Back to the Upload Center. Press the "enter to Upload Center here" link.
You should see your user name at the top.
6. Upload a file. Press "Browse" and then navigate to your test file for
upload. Press "Upload File" and watch the status bar on the bottom of your
browser.
7. Play with the features. Email me with questions and suggestions.
p.s. I also have a prototype chat room running that we can swap lies on
<grin>.
