Is it supposed to do something? Right now, at least the SETI client is working even if it's not communicating with the server. Client Prediction is only taking up space on my HDD.

Depending on your preferences, you should have one project running for a while, this is then preempted to let the next project run, and so on.

This 'preemption' occurs every hour I believe. You should set your preferences to have the projects remain in memory, so that you avoid wasted CPU time. If a project was preempted and removed from memory, the CPU time from the last check point save would be lost.
