I would suspect more that it was turned off to reduce loading on the database and to make the serverside debugging easier.

Sorry, but I guess the stats will be a long way down Berkeley's priorities until the rest of Boinc stablises!

The latest stats numbers will be in there and should be fully updated when the stats are finally displayed.
