Could it be because you have a Celeron?
What size is your L2 cache? If it is 256k then you have a Celeron and
since both the Classic and Boinc modules take more memory than that
they have to swap out which means it takes ALOT more time to process
units.
Could it also be because you are using the Screen Saver version of
Classic?
