GLOBAL EMERGENCY ON PLANET EARTH!
Oh, Charles, this was a good effort. Really. But you mustn't go on so
long. Even good satire will pall when it goes on too long.
Also, it lacks character development. You say they are 'malevolent human
looking beings' but you really don't give us any real reason to care about
them. Give them more personality and your readers will root for them with
gusto.
And for better effect, please, never admit you have no evidence. This is
contrary to all existing forms of satire/tabloid aliens. You must create
your evidence imaginitively, preferably with so many holes even a toddler
will spot the improbabilities. Saying 'I have no way of proving it at this
time' makes the reader feel cheated, as though you just don't care enough
to make up something good. A reader who feels you're just 'phoning it in'
will never buy your writing again. And isn't sales what it's all about?
As it is, it will not be publishable.
Make it shorter, with more punch. Add character development, a plausible-
sounding background, and resubmit it. I will be pleased to reconsider it.
