Sad but true as far as SETI goes. If you're using a machine solely for SETI
and it isn't around 500Mhz or better then you're pretty much burning fossil
fuels for very little return. If you're using for other things as well then
it's all good.

This machine is my Internet PC (newsreader) and this message I type on
it. Well sometimes an X-Wing pilot runs through the Galaxy :) 
But you are right, a better box is necessary... 
It is too risky for me, the last one (366Mhz, 128) was killed by virus
from Internet. It made one WU in about 45 h and it did 76 WUs in 2
Years.
