I`m using SetiGate for caching workunits, and everything works fine,
except
in Active WU`s tab is shown every workunit that i procesed, but none of
them
are 100%done. Please help...
Standard reply is to make sure that all your settings are correct,
including proxy settings, shortcuts etc.
I use setigate to feed several machines on a LAN. Has worked 'almost'
seamlessly for some years.
I had a similar problem last week where one networked pc was grabbing a
new
workunit but leaving the previous marked as processing at 99.something %.
Baffled me for a few days, then discovered that my son had amended
settings
so that the hard drives on this pc turned off after 30 minutes.
I don't know why this should make a difference but I set the drives to
never turn off and all is fine once more.
HTH
Sunbeam.
I had SetiGate working for a 2 years without any problems, but, after
reinstalation, that problem occured. My power shema is set never to turn off
monitor, HDD or to go standby, so problem is something else, but i still
don`t know what. Settings are the same they were 2 years ago when it worked
just fine...
