That's no surprise: "Mac OS/X 10.3+" is required.

You could try compiling your own from the source code. Or you could move you machine over to Linux... (A bit radical just for Boinc! (:-P)

Debatable... My opinion is that if your machine is on anyhow, the s@h (Classic) is more useful that having other screensavers gobble the idle CPU cycle. However, I certainly would not have a machine powered up just dedicated to s@h classic.

There are various Boinc projects and other DC projects that are more pertinent now.
