I set up seti classic last week. Everything seems to be running fine -
i.e. I can return results and can check on my progress (you are ranked

However, I want to alter my user profile. I enter my email address (I
know seti has my correct address because I can check progress as
above) but it never sends me the password... does anybody know what
the problem is?
Is there any spam-blocking on the e-mail account of record? The
message containing your password will be brief, and may lack enough
intelligible text to be considered a genuine communication by certain
kinds of filter.
Second issue.. is it a simple process to run two versions of my seti
classic account? The one that is working is on my old iMac at home (14
hours a data block...urrgghhhh) > could I set it up to run on my work
PC at lunch time?
Yes; you can have any number of machines contributing to one account.
Just put in the same e-mail address when the client asks, the first
time it's launched, and it'll register you accordingly. After sending
in its first WU it should show your current total from all machines.
I know I couldn't be processing the same data block - but would that
be a problem?
No, assuming the work machine has an Internet connection.
