I re-set it and see that it's downloading setiathome4.05.exe. My other
machine that's had BOINC 4.09 on the same amount of time is still running
setiathome4.03.exe

I'm wondering if I should reset it or whether it'll download the new core
client when needed or what will happen.

Same here.  Setiathome 4.05 was downloaded about 4 WU's ago, but it still
uses 4.03. I did notice a message in my logfile that I had to upgrade
otherwise Boinc could not download new WU's. So, maybe there was a change in
the structure of the WU's also and that WU's already downloaded will be
processed using 4.03, and the new WU's with 4.05.
