the Southern Europe near Dardanelles, were made public. A long search
for the vanished soldiers was mounted. But none of them had been
found neither among the dead, nor among the POWs released by Turks
after the war.

Unforunately the fly in the ointment here is that they found the mass grave of the Norfolks - It was actually a battalion composed of workers from the Sandringham Royal estate a few years ago. There was a program on TV about it.
