I also have a problem with SETI,
I have it installed on my own PC (Installed pre SP2)
I have just built a new PC, and for some reason it refuses to install.
I download it from here
http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/windows.html
I run the file, and get the WinZip self extractor extracting the files (to
c:\documents and settings\%username%\local settings\temp\WZS58.tmp\)
but the setup.exe does not run, the Winzip extractor then closes, deleting
all the files
If I make a copy of the temp directory, then try to run the setup.exe it
does nothing (visibly anyway!)
Any ideas what is going on?
In this other PC, I also tried installing some software called FTPSync -
this did the same (The only two so far)
